Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, is a city in on the Lake Ontario shoreline. It lies in southern Ontario approximately 60 kilometers east of downtown Toronto. In 2011, Oshawa had a population of about 152,000, making it the largest town in the Regional Municipality of Durham.
